The VIP Sedan is a Russian Mafia and Civilian luxury car featured in Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

"When you need to make an impression, don't settle for anything less than this finely tuned luxury automobile. Includes hardened steel plating and bullet-resistant glass. Just in case."
— Merchant of Menace store description

The vehicle can be found in two places. One during the Russian Mafia contract, Escort Service, in which Sergei Voronov betrays the mercenary and Josef. The other is found in the 'Merchant of Menace' shop after unlocking it.

When ordered from the store it will be considered a civilian vehicle and give the mercenary a civilian disguise. During the Escort Service contract it is a Mafia vehicle and will give a Mafia disguise.

Real lifeEdit

The VIP Sedan is based on the GAZ M-12 ZIM. It was produced between 1950 and 1960 and was originally going to be just a badge-engineered Buick, but designer Andrei Lipgart chose to make it an original vehicle. Featuring a 3.5-liter inline-6 engine, the GAZ M-12 ZIM bears a definite resemblance to General Motors cars of the late 1940s to early 1950s. Its front in particular resembles a Cadillac from that time period, and the rear half of the car has similarities to bodywork used by Oldsmobile. While officially an original Russian design, the GAZ M-12 ZIM distinctly resembles a post-World War II American car.

Strangely enough, the one you get during "Escort Service" is the only true Mafia version. The one you get from the Merchant of Menace is classified as a Civilian vehicle.
