The NK Village
The NK Village is a large North Korean village located in the Northern Province of North Korea. It is featured in Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.
Overview[]
The NK Village is located on the eastern side of the Northern Province, with roads connecting west to the temple, north to the Chemical Complex, and south to the Industrial Zone. The village has seemingly been abandoned by North Korean civilians, as none are seen wandering the houses, though numerous military presences have been set up at different points in the conflict. KPA watchtowers dot the corners of the village, but are never seen being used by NK soldiers. A river runs through most of the village, with multiple bridges spanning different sections.
Civilian, South Korean and Russian vehicles can be found patrolling the roads throughout the village, while KPA forces can be found hiding in the mountainous regions east of the village.
Four National Treasures, two Blueprints, and one Listening Post can be found within the village.

The NK Village is featured prominently in two contracts:
'In the Neighborhood'[]
The South Koreans have set up numerous hideouts in the village supposedly with the intention of stopping future Chinese advances, though Sergei believes they're trying to spy on him and tasks you with destroying their secret bases of operations.
'Housekeeping'[]
One of the renegade Mafia officers you need to take out has taken up refuge in the village, guarded by the unique and powerful Ka-50 Attack helicopter. Another renegade officer at the Temple will drive towards the village once identified.
