Comic Cover
Mercenaries is 3-issue comic based on the Mercenaries franchise and published by Dynamite Entertainment[1]. The story is a prequel set before the events of Mercenaries 2: World in Flames.
Overview[]
The comics comes in three issues. The first issue was released on 1 November 2007, the second issue on 1 January 2008 and the third on 1 February 2008.[1]
Plot[]
The story revolves around the three titular mercenaries (Mattias Nilsson, Chris Jacobs, and Jennifer Mui) on a mission in Taiwan. Mainland China is attempting to take over the breakaway province and re-absorb it into the People's Republic. Of particular focus is Jennifer's two brothers - One who leads the Taiwanese resistance, and another who commands the PLA in their conquest of Taiwan.
