The Liberator is the Allies primary mode of transporting supplies, infantry, and vehicles. For troop transport, the Liberator can carry four passengers and a pilot. Sporting a light and dark green camouflage pattern, and defended by two door-mounted Gatling Guns, the Liberator can be found near all of the Allied outposts. The Liberator can carry up to 4 soldiers, including the pilot and two gunners. It also has amongst the strongest winching capacity in the game, able to lift a Bladesong Missile Boat.

It moves at a relatively slow pace, and its maneuverability is not as good as some of the smaller helicopters leaving it considerably vulnerable to anti-air fire. Fortunately the armor is quite strong and can survive a decent amount of small arms fire and explosives and although surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) do a significant amount of damage to the helicopter, they will not take it down immediately and usually require two or three shots to disable or destroy the helicopter.

When the Allied Nations invade, Liberators can be found flying over Maracaibo, near the Allied outposts and Universal Petroleum locations. They can also be found transporting boxes to some of the Allied bases, and patrolling the airspace above Caracas and its bordering areas.

Tactics[]

One tactic that can be used in fights can be to winch an occupied Diplomat tank. While the player cannot fire the tank while in the helicopter, the tank will still attempt to fire on Chinese and Venezuelan enemies.

Real Life[]

The Liberator is based off of the Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion, as well as the MH-53J/M Pave Low.
