"Ready to go tank hunting? This Allied APC is fast, all terrain, and carries anti-tank missiles for breaking through enemy formations."
— Stockpile caption

This is the anti-armor variant of the Guardians. Its modification is the addition of a turret with 2 AT launch tubes and 4 sets of 4 smoke launchers (which cannot be used). The radius of the front facing 7.62mm minigun is reduced to 270º because it's blocked by the addition of the AT turret right behind it. The AT turret has a radius of 360º since its elevated and the AT missiles lock onto most land and sea vehicles.

It can be considered as the first step up in the Guardian from the series.

The Guardian AT is commonly found around the Allied Nations' Southern Caracas Outpost.

Tactics[]

This APC has two firing modes of AT missile, one shows two missiles in reserve, the other shows one (possibly a glitch on the console that this was tested). The difference is that the one showing only 1 in reserve makes a click sound as if it was empty while the other firing mode fires an AT missile. When both AT missiles are fired, the other firing mode is also shown empty.

This anti-tank specialized APC is actually not good at taking out tanks, especially heavy tanks. The missiles deal only about 30% damage to Diplomats and Iron Mountains. It will work 'okay' against light armor, but will run out of AT missiles very fast. It is better suited for taking out type 2 armor with its minigun.

Conversely, any tank can take out this vehicle before it does something, since its armor is weak, like any other Guardian-based vehicles. However, it may be problematic, since these are usually near any AN vehicle, acting as a support vehicle, especially when there are Statesmans on the area.

Real Life[]

The Guardian AT is based on the M1134 Anti-Tank Guided Missile Vehicle.
