Tal-hun An, also known as the Five of Clubs, is a military installation architect who designed bunkers and missile silos for General Song's military using money from international countries during Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

ExOps bio[]

Name: Tal-hun An
Tal-hun An is responsible for building most of General Song's military installations. For over a decade, An took money from the Allied Nations, America and other nations of good will, which was meant for public works projects, and used it to build bunkers and missile silos.

Overview[]

An is located north of Pyongyang, there will be a small road at the north-east corner of the city which when followed will lead you to the site where he is located. The e-mail sent to you comes from Major Park, however the actual e-mail was sent through Langley, VA so it is assumed it was actually sent by Agent Buford. According to the e-mail the reason why An is located here is because he is working on some new military installation and they are about to begin development. The only reason he is there is to fund and co-ordinate the construction and is not there for any military reason.

The actual area is quite big, but there are only three KPA soldiers located there who have barricaded themselves behind sandbags. They are all standing around an arch-like, medieval looking building with staircases on either side which the player can use to get up to where An is located. Once the soldiers are dead, go up to An and take him down however you see fit, he is armed with a Light Machine Gun. This area contains many cherry blossom trees and an artificial type pond with walkways on top, one of these walkways contains a national treasure.

An has a bounty of $25,000 alive or $12,500 dead.

E-mail message[]

Sender: Fiona Taylor
Subject: Tal-hun An, the 5 of Clubs
"Agent Buford just sent me a report on Tal-hun An, the 5 of clubs. Apparently, he's overseeing the construction of a military installation north of Pyongyang. His involvement is purely financial, so don't expect too much action if you go after him.
The report says it's from Major Park, but since it comes from the CIA's central computer at Langley, I presumed it was really from Buford."

GSRN Report[]

Upon capturing/verifying the Five of Clubs, GSRN Trucks will broadcast the following report:

"Tal-hun An, the Five of Clubs, and principal financier of General Song's military infrastructure, was captured by heroic Allied forces earlier today. Reports of mercenary involvement are, as of yet, unsubstantiated."
