"The quad-MGs on this VZ vehicle might not be cutting edge, but they're highly effective against personnel, light vehicles and helicopters."

The Capuchin AA is an Anti-Air modification of the Capuchin type trucks. It has a flatbed with a Quad-50 turret on it. It can be purchased from the Pirate shop. It is described as a cheap alternative to the later-game heavy AA and SAM vehicles. It can only be found in the 'Black Market, Warm Heart Level 3' contract, luckily, the Quad-50 platform is not manned.

It is identical to the Bolivar Quad-50 in terms of performance and armament. When crewed, they are labelled with the AA diamond.

The Quad-50 turret is gunner controlled, a single player cannot drive and shoot at the same time, they must have an AI occupant or second player to be able to shoot and move.

Tactics[]

This vehicle is very effective against light armor type 2 vehicles and type 1 helicopters. It is also very good at eliminating and suppressing large groups of infantry.

It is better to engage light helicopters because heavy attack helicopters could easily destroy the truck in a few seconds. It is also easier to engage light helicopters because the bullets will be able to pierce through the cockpit and harm or even kill the passengers. Armor type 2 helicopter cockpits cannot be penetrated by bullets or shrapnel.

This vehicle is an improvement over the basic Capuchin Guntruck because it has four .50cal HMGs instead of two as well as putting all the firepower under the control of a single gunner. This gun truck also works better than minigun equipped AA vehicles like an Armadillo AA because .50 caliber rounds do more damage than 7.62mm rounds, to compensate for the lack of rate of fire, there are four .50cal HMGs.

Never use this vehicle in heavy combat, especially when it involves grenades and rocket propelled explosives. It works better at staying out of combat and simply engaging helicopters.

Real Life[]

The Capuchin AA looks like very similar to an M939 truck, except it has a threatening M45 Quadmount turret on the back. Similar Vehicles were used during World War II and the Vietnam War by US forces to act as a deterrent to strafing runs by enemy aircraft.
