The Corales MG is an American-Made, Guerilla acquired and customized jeep that serves as the light scout vehicle for the People's Liberation Army of Venezuela.

The Corales MG modifications of spikes, barbed wire, reinforcements and a PLAV paint scheme set it apart from its Venezuelan Army counterpart the Iguana MG.

The Corales MG is armed with a single, forward facing Browning .50 caliber machine gun with three hundred rounds of .50 caliber BMG ammunition. The weapon has a limited firing arc of about 180° which limits its effectiveness as it cannot engage enemies to the sides and rear. The machine gun is however, effective against infantry and soft targets such as other scout cars, although the machine gun is primarily for defensive purposes only.

The Corales MG can be found wherever there is PLAV activity, especially around their outposts, bases and patrol routes. These areas are usually in the southern side of Venezuela, inside the Amazon regions. The Corales MG can be purchased from the PLAV shop upon completion of some contracts from them.

The Corales MG is a light scout vehicle suited only for patrolling outposts, performing basic reconnaissance or as light fire support for infantry. Its armor is weak and can be easily destroyed by machine gun fire and explosives. Its .50cal MG is effective against infantry and light vehicles, but cannot damaged heavier vehicles like armored personnel carriers.

The Corales MG is fast and agile, making it suitable as a hit-and-run vehicle or as a getaway vehicle. It is also cheap, making it an expendable asset for the player.

Real LifeEdit

The Corales MG is based on the Ford M151 MUTT.
