Changson train station entrance

Entrance to the train station

Changsong Train Station is a train station located in the Northern Province of North Korea. It is featured in Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

Overview[]

The Changsong Train Station is a train station located in the far north of North Korea, near the border with China. It consists of the main terminal building, a few train platforms, a train depot, and two large buildings. A heavily armed and armored train with North Korean markings sits at the depot, but is never used. The area around the station features scattered KPA soldiers, along with many patrolling Sungri Scouts, Mafia technicals, and civilians. The hills around the area feature a few SA-8s, so be careful when approaching with a helicopter, especially from the east.

The train station is not featured in any contracts, though there is a small group of Chinese soldiers with a BJ2020 Scout next to the tracks who offer the Changsong Loop of Fire challenge.

The area around the train station features many heavily guarded KPA positions. To the west of the station, in the hills, is an NK base with two ZSU-57s, a large bunker which will infinitely spawn more ZSUs, and an NK soldier equipped with an Anti-Armor Rifle. Northeast of the station, along the road, is another small base on the hill with two M1955 Artillery pieces, a national treasure, and an Mi-17. Far to the east of the station, past the road, is a valley heavily blanketed by SAMs, and featuring numerous KPA forces scattered throughout. Four Mi-35 Gunships, two T-62s and one MD-500 Scout can be found here, along with the rarely seen K200 Surveillance, which appears to have been captured by the North Koreans. Along the road leading to the station there are numerous abandoned NK vehicles, including a T-62.

Two National Treasures and two Monuments can be found in the train station.
