Introduction

The Castro helicopters are the helicoptyers used by the PLAV in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames.

Overview

The Castro series helicopters are the staple of the PLAV air force in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. The Castro series is a diverse and well balanced group of helicopters that fill the necassary roles needed like transport, support and attack. They are all the same size and shape and handle all the same, however they are fitted out with different weapons and transport storage. They are all very common and can be found all over the Amazon area near PLAV bases. While they at first glance may seem vastly superior to the Universal Petroleum Rogue helicopters in terms of ammo capacity and lifting capabillity, it is extremely important to note that they are probably the least agile helicopter class in the game (not counting the heavy lifters) and something as simple as fighting another helicopter can prove to be a challenge even with miniguns.

Castro Transport
