I just made a new discovery. The Taebaek in the Allied Mash in Kusong offers a challenge called Taxi where you have to transport various npcs to various places. What's interesting about this challenge is that the car has a Speedometer! So my point is... knowing the max speed of the Taebaek, can we compare it to the other vehicles in the game, so we can obtain the ACTUAL speeds of all vehicles instead of the generic slow/average/fast/etc... statement? It would require some tests in-game and calculations but i think it's doable and a proper speed value for the vehicles pages is better imo. What do you guys think about this?

I remember renting out a game from Family Video (RIP) for my PS2 many years ago, probably over a decade now actually, and you could steal any vehicle and even sell it to some guys for money, which you could use to order more vehicles. I also remember there being a ZSU 57, or maybe the chinese version, the WZ305, in the game, which was one of my favorite tanks to drive due to it's twin 57mm cannons firing quite fast. I think the guys you sold the vehicles too were the russian mafia, and all you had to do was drive it into their garage. I loved stealing a bus full of people and selling it to them, that was quite hilarious. My question is, was it Mercenaries 1, 2, or a different game?
Hello!
Hope everyone is in good health!
Well, I'm very upset with Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction version for XBOX ONE. Each day I play I find a new bug. And today the issue is kinda blocking me to advance further, so I decided to ask for help here.
I wanted to know whether anyone has any solution to any of the bugs listed below, being the first two the most problematic to me and those that got me truly upset:
After almost 100 hours of game my save file no longer records my position in the map, regardless I am close to an HQ. I always spawn at Kusong MASH, even if I am at the South Province!
My minimap has completely crashed! The sprites are now gray squares for everything (ally or foe helis, SAMs, HQs, mission objectives, etc, except for challeges that are still a "$"). And the worst thing is that this is irreversible. It doesn't matter if I restart the game, load another save file or start a new game. The core of the game has crashed somehow and now my minimap is useless.
Helis spontaneously blows in the air, specially in the city of Dandong. For some reason, the chinese helis above Dandong randomly explodes and fall above you on fire. And this happens very often. If you stay in Dandong for a while many helis will fall over your head. Nevertheless, I have faced this bug in other cities as well, even in south province, but these are very seldom.
4x MD-500 spawns at the exact same spot in Downtown Pyongyang, making them crash at each other. This is very funny, actually, and they do not explode. But it is still very bizarre.
This is rare, but happens: If you want to fly a YAH-56 Gunship (the Apache imitation) the easiest way is to kill the pilot and wait for it to crash without blowing up. However, there is a small chance that after you enter the heli it will slowly and endlessly accelerate on its own (as if you were continuously pressing A very softly). The problem is that you start to endlessly gain altitude and cannot ditch out. As if you were tied up to a giant helium balloon, hahaha...
Very often destroying vehicles doesn't count on your statistics, even if you earn the money for a NK vehicle. This does not happen when killing people or driving. Why?
Frozen NPCs: At the max distance of renderization you can see NPCs simply standing as a stopped silhuete, as if they were frozen. They are even flying sometimes. However, if you approach them, or use the binoculars, they start to move. What's more weird is that those that were flying often fall and die! I mean, what the ****???
Suicidal civilians: I remember playing this game on PS2 and there were suicidal civilians as well, but on a minor scale. On this version, the citizens are completely crazy! They cross the street in front of your car everytime, and you end up killing them and paying the fine. Also, very often they throw their own vehicles in the water, whether you are driving somewhat close to them.
Various minor bugs which I would take a whole day to describe them up.
Can someone help me with these? Specially the top two of the list are very annoying bugs and are almost making me to give up this game and ask for a cashback, whether it is possible, lol.
Best,
DjeL KJ

<p>Is there a way to get cheats if you don't have the online update? I have read on several websites that the October 2008 update or something is required for cheats, and as I finally bought Mercinaries 2 in the past month for my Xbox, after having it for the PS2 for many years. I am assuming that this update is no longer able to be obtained? Or am I doing something wrong? Anyway, any reply is greatly appreciated.
